These single and multi-point die sets are custom designed and available as pierce and clinch, clinch only in top down, bottom up or cam action configurations. The dies are primarily used in mechanical, hydraulic or air over oil driven presses. Consistent installation force is accomplished through a monitored nitrogen gas spring system. Manual load of fasteners and brackets is the most common strategy. Fully automated fastener feeding systems are available as well. Application nesting and sensor detection are standard features.
